Hello Everyone, Jason Dunbar here again to talk a little more in detail about Social Networking. I spoke a little bit about Social Networking in the past, but I didn’t share with you how you can generate income on the Internet through Social Networking websites such as Facebook or Myspace.
I have been in or around the Network Marketing Industry for many years and I must admit that I have been very skeptical when it comes to Social Networking Websites for Internet Marketers. In the past, I have always stayed away from sites such as Myspace and Facebook because it seemed as though these sites are only used by individuals who were looking to “hook up” with one another. Although I do still feel that the majority of members of these sites are looking to “hook up”, I do feel that there is plenty of opportunity for Internet Marketers. I feel that many entrepreneurs have the same reservations that I have when it comes to Social Networking sites as well, but if you know what you are doing, Social Networking is a great way for Internet Marketers to brand themselves and generate income at the same time.
In traditional Network Marketing, you had to hit the pavement and meet plenty of people and exchange information and so forth and so on in order to generate leads. Now, with the popularity of Social Networking Sites, all you have to do is create a profile, make a few friends, maybe start a blog and the rest is history, sort of. Although there is a little more work involved, the beauty of it all is that you do not have to get out and hit the pavement. Social Networking can be done from the comfort of your own home and is great because it allows you to be yourself. No dressing up and trying to impress your prospect or having to pay for a lunch that leads nowhere. Most Social Networking Websites are free to join and they allow you to customize your profile to help you show the world who you are.
I am a member of a few different Social Networking Websites and I have had a great deal of success once I learned how to market myself on these sites. I have generated plenty of income on the Internet through Social Networking and I have created very valuable networks with some fantastic entrepreneurs who have also found the benefits of networking through these types of websites. Social Networking can drive plenty of traffic to your website, if you know what you are doing. Remember, most Social Networking Websites are not made to sell products so you must know what you are doing in order not to violate any rules. In my opinion, Social Networking is a fantastic way to brand yourself as an Internet Marketer and is a great way to add an additional stream of income for your business.
