Hello everyone, Jason Dunbar is back again to share some of my thoughts on Hosting. I must admit that I do not know much about this topic, but if you are new to Internet Marketing, you probably know less than I do.
My very first Internet Marketing venture I was introduced to the Pluginprofitsite, also known as PIPS. The sales page was pretty impressive and it was all over the place. It seemed that everywhere I looked, there was a PIP website. After very little research, I became a member of PIPS also. Within 24hrs, my website was built (for free) and I was on my way to making money on the Internet. I was on top of the world.
One of the requirements of having this money making website built for free was that I have it hosted by a company named Host4profit. I didn’t know too much about hosting, other than the fact that if you have a website, it needed to be hosted. This Hosting company had an affiliate program so I was able to make money so hey, I was satisfied. After all, I was an amateur and didn’t really know what I was doing. As time went on and I began to learn a little about Hosting and what it is. Although I would love to get a little more in detail about hosting, I am going to be a little brief in this article.
Hosting with the Hosting company that I am with has been nothing less than a wonderful experience. It didn’t take me much time at all to learn how to use the functions and all of the different features that are included with this service. I must admit that although the price seems to be a little bit higher than some other companies out there, the ease of operation is well worth the extra money spent, especially for an amateur. If you have your own website that will be often upgraded, a good Hosting company is needed. I can’t comment on their customer service due to the fact that I have needed to uses them.
I wish at the time of posting this article that I would have had a lot more to say in regards to hosting companies, but unfortunately I don’t. I did feel that I needed to put this article out because a business partner of mine decided to get Hosting from another, less expensive company and had problems right from the beginning. Being new to Internet Marketing can be confusing enough, and now adding more confusion on top of that is a disaster waiting to happen.
These are my final thoughts on Web Hosting. Do your research. Although I did no research when it came down to choosing my Hosting Service because it was already chosen for me, so far it seems to be one the best out there, in terms of ease of use. You also have to know what you are looking for. Do you plan on updating your site often or do you just need somewhere for it to sit? If your website is going to be your source of income, your Hosting Service just might be the most important decision you have to make during your Internet Marketing career.
I know that this article hasn’t been very informative because Hosting is not one of my string points, but I am learning. I hope I have been able to help because that is what I am here for. I am not trying to sell you something, I am simply trying to tell you something.
